For the skiers and snowboarders, the famous Big Bear Mountain Resort offers 62 runs and 748 acres of skiable terrain. Other winter sports available at the resort include lift-assisted sledding and tubing runs at Big Bear Snow Play and Grizzly Ridge Tube Park. When the weather warms up, a whole other world of activity begins. Snow Summit’s Scenic Sky Chair transforms into a mile-long ride to 8,200-foot panoramic views, and biking, hiking, and camping options abound. The 7-mile lake is surrounded by towering pines and mountain peaks and offers a veritable playground for motorized- and people-powered watercraft. You can rent equipment of all types, including paddleboards, kayaks, or boats for waterskiing or fishing. The best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in big bear and I go at least two or three times a year this was my second time staying at this location because I loved it so much the first time and this time it was even better the movie theater was so nice and the upstairs game room was so much fun to hangout in. Kitchen is state of the art and the house has an abundance of beds and sleepable areas so was perfect!

Great place, our kids loved it! The cabin was spacious compared to other cabins we have been at. It was clean and neat, a little touch of Christmas decor was very nice, and we also had a nice place for our Hanukkah Menorah (; The kids loved the movie theater, and they loved sleeping in an arcade. It was almost impossible to drag them out of there. We had almost everything we needed for making dinner and breakfast, as far as utensils, condiments and cookware. we bought a few items and left them there for the next guests to use. We would definitely recommend this great cabin!! And we will definitely come back and stay again.

Find us

A personal vehicle is strongly recommended. The closest airport is Palm Springs (PSP), about 37 miles away. In winter-time, chains are required to be in all vehicles except 4-wheel drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels. During times of the inclement weather CalTrans will set top a road stop and check to see if each vehicle has chains and at times require them to put on depending upon weather. There are 3 different routes to Big Bear Lake. The routes are as follows: Highway 330, Highway 18 and Highway 38. Please check for any closures just prior to your drive, so that you can plan the best route. You can check for closures and other traffic conditions using the Caltrans Map online + 7 Min to Big Bear Village + 5 Min to Bear Mountain Ski Resort + 6 Min to Snow Summit Ski Resort + 6 Min to Grizzly Ridge Tube Park
